The following types of V belts are applied to Beta engines.
- Wedge type V Belt – The Cross-section shape is roughly trapezoidal (hence the name “V”) which can also be cogged. Both wedge type belts (cogged and non cogged) can be used for the same application.
- Poly ‘V’ Belt or Micro ‘V’ Belt – multi ‘V’ cross section belts with longitudinal V-shaped ribs.
